In July 2019, more than 200 O. Winston Link photographs were shipped to a gallery and cultural center in Munich, Germany, for an “O. Winston Link Retrospektive” show that opened in  October. Some 500  guests were invited to the free opening Oct. 15 at Versicherungskammer Kulturstiftung Kuntsfoyer where guests sipped champagne against a backdrop of photographs, some presented as wall size murals.

Ashley Webb, Curator of Collections and Exhibitions at the Historical Society of Western Virginia, traveled to Munich to consult on the exhibit and again to the opening. Short presentations were given at the opening by Christian Krams, Versicherungskammer Bayern Board member; Isabel Siben, Director of Kuntsfoyer; Webb and Hagen von Ortloff, presenter for Eisenbahn-Romantik. The exhibit closes Jan. 28, 2020.
