Museum Closing Status

As is the case with most institutions and museums across Virginia and the nation, the History Museum of Western Virginia and the O. Winston Link Museum have closed until further notice to help stop the spread of COVID-19. This difficult decision was borne from concern for the safety and health of our visitors, staff and volunteers.

Queries should be directed to info@vahistorymuseum.org

Please continue to check our website and social media as we will be updating there as well and hope to reopen soon.

The Kegley Lecture featuring Dr. Smith-Glaviana speaking on historic fashions set to take place on March 24 has been postponed. We will send out information regarding a new date once it is set.

Thank you for your understanding during this time.
